Evelyn Iona — Gel Liner + Brush Set — ★★★

Value, $22 (full-size, $33.50)

Description: This green beauty must have is simply wonderful. No matter what situation you find yourself in, you know that your Evelyn Iona Gel Liner and Brow Filler won’t smudge, budge, or run. It goes on silky smooth and you only need a little product to create your look (literally one swipe!). HOW TO USE : Use your bamboo eyeliner brush for precise and easy application. Can also be used as an ah-mazing eyebrow filler. Use coconut oil to remove.

Can I be honest? I was capital T, terrified of this brush and the gel liner. I like a fine line if I wear one. I didn’t wet the brush or anything to use it first I just softened the bristles between my fingertips. I then dabbed a little onto the brush and dotted it along my eyelash line, then went back in drawing out the line and filling it in. It was perfect. I am really surprised and impressed. My other favorite liner for the tip and water-proofness is Kat Von D’s ink liner. That is really wet in comparison and I always manage to smudge it or blink. I definitely recommend this gel liner and brush if you love a natural look with the option to go dramatic af. This can do it.

Evelyn Iona never tests on animals. Not all products are vegan, but the vegan ones are labeled.

S.W. Basics — Mini Cream — ★★★★

Value, $12

Description: This is the mother of all S.W. Basics products. You know how lots of lotions and moisturizers leave you needing more, like ten minutes after you put them on? That’s because they use water as a base. When it evaporates, you dry out all over again. This Cream is extremely rich, sinking deep into the skin and staying there. And it’s just as awesome on your face as it is on your body. HOW TO USE Apply a small amount to thirsty skin. Store at normal room temperatures; will change consistency in heat and cold.

This little guy caused a lot of drama! I received a lovely email from Petit Vour in regards to this product and feedback they had received.

“Many of our subscribers have contacted PV about the unusual scent of their S.W. Basics Mini Cream. While the fresh olive oil used in S.W.’s Cream does not normally differ by the batch, with all-natural products, there can be subtle variation in the color, smell and texture from batch to batch. For the beauty box feature, the batch smelled stronger than usual and didn’t pair quite as well with the smell of the shea butter and coconut oil. The Cream still has the same emollient and deeply moisturizing properties. Also, the scent does dissipate once you massage it into skin. If you’d like any further assistance or have any questions regarding your cream, please reach out to S.W. Basics at hello@swbasicsofbk.com and the team will be happy to help you. Xx “

I mean it smells exactly like 100% shea butter. I don’t see what the big deal is. I guess if you’ve never smelled shea butter before it would be shocking. It smells like a strong cheese. I’m not sure if the smell really fades or you just get used to it. Smells aside the cream is extremely easy to work with it’s not cement solid and absorbs into skin nicely. It’s composed of 3 nourishing oils: shea, coconut, and olive oil.

I highly recommend rubbing it into your nails and cuticles when using as hand lotion. Your nails will thank you.

French Girl Organics — Rose Lip Polish — ★★★★

Value, $9 (full-size, $16)

Description: Put an end to dry lips with this super moisturizing lip polish! Organic shea butter, olive oil, and plant waxes combined with organic sugar gently remove dry skin and smooth out rough patches. With a lovely rose scent from organic rose otto, rose geranium, and peppermint getting your lips in shape doesn’t get more enjoyable! HOW TO USE At first sign of dryness, scoop out pea-sized amount and apply to lips, gently massaging in circular motions. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with a moisturizing lip balm if needed.

Love it!! It’s no wonder, I absolutely adore their lip tint I received in a previous Petit Vour. This lip polish is stiffer than others I’ve tried and I think it’s to my benefit. I like to keep these in the shower and exfoliate the nasty lip crusties before I get out. It’s extremely effective and the rose scent is out of this world. 😍🌹 p.s. you can use it dry and wipe it off with a kleenex!
