Garlic rice. Does anything more need to be said?? Although right as I typed that I thought what if I add Italian seasoning, parsley and a little paprika??

Garlic bread rice. I can’t deal with myself. Maybe next time.

This has been one of my favorite types of rice to make in the Instant Pot or on the stove. Garlic rice is in the meal-prep rotation and is open to a variety of uses.

Add steamed veggies and beans for a nourishing bowl.

Instant Pot: Garlic Rice

  • Yield: Approximately 8 servings
  • Serving Size: 3/4 cup
  • Calories per serving: 161

Keeps in the fridge for a little over a week.

Additional nutritional information // protein: 3g • iron: 10%

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Jasmine rice
  • 1-2 teaspoons minced garlic (fresh or jar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice in a sieve and tap it into the Instant Pot bowl. Add water, garlic, and salt. Give it a quick stir. Secure lid and set to seal.
  2. Hit the rice button and let it do it's thang.
