Rating: ★★★★ Loved it and bought it since • ★★★ Good stuff • ★★ Not for me • ★ Hated it

I know it’s March and all, but here I am trying to take us back in time to the January LaRitzy box. I’ve just wrapped up what I consider good use of the products and I’m here to share my thoughts and gushes.

LaRitzy gets major aesthetic points. The clean white cardboard. Light bright confetti paper. It’s my third month and it’s always gorgeous.

On first glance we’re looking at products from Zoe Organics, GlamNatural, Mai Couture, and Otavea.

Zoe Organics — Cream — ★★★★

Value, $18

Description: This ultra rich cream is packed with vitamins and nutrient-rich oils and botanicals that naturally heal and restore sensitive and damaged skin. Contains no water, fillers, or chemical preservatives.

Pressing your finger into this feels like pressing into foam or soft putty with a little tack. It has the lightest of nutty smells. Someone who isn’t familiar with nuts and seeds would say it has no smell.

It immediately softens on the skin. Even in the dead of winter. Rubs in really nice. I liked rubbing it on the tops of my hands and into my knuckles and then wiping my palms on a warm microfiber cloth. You can get nourished and keep typing. Good for the nail beds too.

I’m not sure if they are a completely vegan company, but all products are labeled vegan/cruelty-free if they are.

Otavea — Lemon Body Scrub — ★★★★

Value, $6

Description: Be the first to experience Lemon by Otavea, a brand new formula exclusive to LaRitzy for January! A crowd favourite, Otavea is a must-have all year long. This gentle exfoliator will leave your skin feeling softer than ever.

If you love Italian ice you will love this body scrub. I do. As a kid I wished to eat my weight in Italian ice. But slathering my body with fine granules of sugar, lemon peel, and nourishing oils works too. It’s heavenly. 🍋

I mean what??

These are gorgeous! I’ve never seen such a thing.

I’ve noticed that a light hand is like highlighter and a heavy hand (like the swatch) is more of a shimmery bronzer. I’m a moron when it comes to a lot of makeup and this was fool-proof to apply. Even if you wear light makeup to none this could be used for a summer glow. I love it.

GlamNatural — Lip Cream, Drop Dead Gorgeous — ★★★

Value, $20

Description: Shea-butter based, creamy, and highly pigmented, this lip cream glides on smoothly and nourishes your lips while you wear it. Not too matte, not too shiny. Perfect for the dry winter months!

Drop Dead Gorgeous is a beautiful raspberry-rich pink berry hue. It reminds me of a Revlon shade my Grandma Betty used to wear. Maybe she still does! It looks good on our ‘Hansford’ skin tone.
