We drink to health! We drink to great tasting green juice! We drink because we like a green stache!
I was craving a luscious–vibrant–full–of–wellness green juice the other day and so I made one.
I grabbed some apples that were weeks old, lemons I probably shouldn’t have bought in the first place, and a whole tub of Safeway Organics’ Super Greens—well, the small tub.
Added in some celery, an orange, and cilantro!
Cilantro in a green juice is AMAZING! And hopefully you like cilantro.
Green Juice Expectations
A subtle taste of baby kale, spinach, cilantro, and celery.
Balanced by sweet orange, carrot, and apple juices.
Sparked by lemony tartness.
Share with a friend or save half for later.
But if you’re like Buster and I—you might just want to down it all and let the pulp fall where it may.
Am I right? #BusterLove
Super Greens Green Juice
Ingredients
- 5 oz organic baby greens
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 2 stalks of celery
- 3 apples, core removed
- 1 carrot
- handful of cilantro
Instructions
- Prep everything so it will fit in your juicer. Start juicing alternating hard and soft ingredients.
This green juice was made in a slooooowwwww masticating juicer—The Omega J8004. We’ve had it a couple of years now and came from a Jack LaLane.
The Omega juicers are great at wringing out all of the juice, keeping the nutrition, and only leaving behind dry pulp.
It’s slow and steady.
