Beanfields • Sea Salt Bean & Rice Chips • ★★★★

Value, $1.28

Description: Sea salt-flavored bean chips to satisfy your cravings for something crunchy.

Definitely check out Beanfields, they have an array of delicious vegan chips (I think GF too?). Their entire line is vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and non-GMO verified. I have a more detailed review over here.

Available at AmazonBeanfields

OCHO • Chocolate Bar • ★★★★

Value, $0.76

Description: A smooth organic and fair trade dark chocolate bar infused with coconut.

Love these! And I never loved Mounds! One time I accidentally bought the Nutiva coconut bars thinking they were these and I was sorely disappointed.

Available at AmazonOCHO

Banza • Chickpea Shell Pasta • ★★★

Value, $8.49

Description: Protein-packed and super tasty chickpea pasta with half the carbs of its wheat alternative.

Even if you’re not afraid of carbs and wheat, Banza delivers an excellent pasta. Because they are made with beans they have TWICE the protein and FOUR times the fiber than traditional pasta. The flavor is different than wheat, but not bad. When cooked the texture is closer to whole wheat pasta. Their plain pastas are gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, non-GMO, and low glycemic.

Nature Addicts • Fruit Snacks • ★★★★

Value, $1.70

Description: Bite-sized fruit snacks that are full of fiber and made from 100% real fruit.

These Apple Mango Passion Fruit fruit snacks are amazing! And I love that they are dark and look the way fruit looks if you used a dehydrator at home. Each pack is made up of about 2 apples, a big slice of mango, and half a passion fruit.

Runa • Cinnamon-Lemongrass Guayusa Tea • ★★★★

Value, $0.43

Description: Ginger citrus tea infusers [sic] naturally packed with caffeine and antioxidants for a clean energy boost.

Cinnamon and Lemongrass?! What an interesting odd combination of flavors?! And it’s delicious!

Available at AmazonRuna

Chicago Vegan Foods • Vegan Marshmallows • ★★★★

Value, $1.06

Description: All natural, gelatin-free and non-GMO marshmallows—s’mores, anyone?

I absolutely adore Dandies’ marshmallows! Marshmallow treats, s’mores, hot chocolate, cookies…when you first learn there are animal hooves in traditional marshmallows it can be heartbreaking for a variety of reasons. Never fear though. Chicago Vegan Foods has you covered with Dandies. They have the traditional size as well as minis depending on your needs. They average around $4-5 at our local co-op and are a little bit more than that on Amazon if you buy in bulk or twice that price if you buy individually.

Mayesa • Dark Chocolate Beverage • ★★★★

Value, $2.48

Description: An organic cacao super drink to replenish and revitalize you.

Mayesa is a tasty chocolate drink and though it’s not a ‘high’ protein drink it does contain both protein and fiber, which is pretty good for a beverage. I drank it cold though I’m sure you could warm it up for a cozy cuppa.

Available at Mayesa

Snack Out Loud • Power Puffs, Sea Salt & Vinegar • ★★★★

Value, $1.12

Description: Sea salt and vinegar Power Puffs with protein and fiber super powers.

Snack Out Loud’s Power Puffs texture reminded me of Cheetos. If only. Great airy yet crunchy texture. The sea salt/vinegar flavor was just right.

Edit: It seems these have disappeared off the face of the earth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mediterranean Snacks • Bean Stalks, Sea Salt • ★★★★

Value, $1.50

Description: Bean snacks that combine green peas, pintos and cannellini beans for a powerful, protein-packed crunch.

Great texture and lightly salted flavor.

Edit: These have also disappeared off the face of the earth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Javazen • Coffee Blend • ★★★★

Value, $1.80

Description: A high energy superfood and coffee infusion that will have you buzzing for more.

I brewed this in our mini french press and found it very delicious with its subtle chocolate notes. Their original is a blend of ground coffee, cacao, and matcha.

Available at Amazon • Javazen

Neat • Breakfast Mix • ★★★★

Value, $4.99

Description: This healthy meat alternative is perfect for breakfast casseroles, quiches, sandwiches, and more.

Overall this was pretty tasty, for a full review with pictures check out this post.
