It’s been a long time since a ‘Feed Your Skull a Snack’ post, but here we are! With a mighty tasty one too.
Freshly cooked chickpeas will melt on your tongue the same as a chocolate chip cookie straight out of the oven. They have an earthy flavor with a pillowy softness.
And so I was inspired to grab a bowl and make a quick snack out of the 2.5 pound abundance.
This bean bowl is beyond easy to put together. Blink and it’s done.

Feed Your Skull a Snack: Cinnamon Chickpeas
- 1/2 cup chickpeas, drained
- 1-2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
- dash of cinnamon
- Toss to coat and enjoy with a spoon. Can be eaten straight out of the fridge or warmed up.
