It’s been a long time since a ‘Feed Your Skull a Snack’ post, but here we are! With a mighty tasty one too.

I always like to nibble on freshly cooked beans straight out of the Instant Pot and the other day wasn’t any different.

Freshly cooked chickpeas will melt on your tongue the same as a chocolate chip cookie straight out of the oven. They have an earthy flavor with a pillowy softness.

And so I was inspired to grab a bowl and make a quick snack out of the 2.5 pound abundance.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup chickpeas, drained
    • 1-2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
    • dash of cinnamon

    Instructions

    1. Toss to coat and enjoy with a spoon. Can be eaten straight out of the fridge or warmed up.
