Miracle Tree • Tea Blends • ★★★★

Value, $1

Description: Fruity tea blends made with dried Moringa leaves containing more than 90 different nutrients, including 47 antioxidants and complex amino acids.

The tea was good and came in sample flavors: strawberry, lemon, and mango. Strawberry was my favorite but they were all pretty good as far as tea goes. If you have a minute, go poke around their site (using the link above). There is a plethora of information regarding the benefits of Moringa’s affordability, sustainability, and more.

The Spice Hunter • Chipotle Chili Pepper • ★★

Value, $1

Description: Smoky chipotle powder that adds some southwestern flare to your favorite dishes.

I love the brand, but sadly I’m not a fan of chipotle flavors, so I’ll be giving this to a friend. I think it would be perfect to add-in for chili or tofu tacos imparting that smoked chili flavor + a little heat of course.

Available at Amazon [3 pack] • The Spice Hunter

Go Veggie! • Dairy-Free Parmesan • ★★★★

Value, $1

Description: Deliciously dairy-free parmesan topping to add to your Italian favorites.

It was love at first bite. This bite-sized sample turned me onto their parmesan and there’s no going back. I’ve since ordered this from Amazon as a 2-pack and now see that my co-op has started carrying it. If you grew up sprinkling the Kraft powder on everything, here’s your vegan substitute. It’s great on pasta, toast, sandwiches, roasted veggies, and even in pesto!!

I Heart Keenwah • Chocolate Sea Salt • ★★★

Value, $1.37

Description: Quinoa cluster snacks that are the perfect combo of sweet meets salty thanks to a little chocolate.

Here’s a cool brand that makes awesome snacks out of quinoa while trying to help you pronounce quinoa. These chocolaty clusters are healthy and delicious, but also hard as rocks. If you have teeth issues, I would avoid.

Available at Amazon • I Heart Keenwah

Growing Naturals • Vanilla Pea Protein Powder • ★★★★

Value, $2.05

Description: Sweet vanilla pea protein powder to power you through work and play.

Growing Naturals has a great selection of vegan protein powders with an ingredient list on the simple side. I’ve currently got a HUGE container of their chocolate brown rice protein powder and love it. The vanilla flavor was also very good with a nice texture.

Oogie’s Snacks • Chipotle Lime Popcorn • ★★★

Value, $5

Description: Chipotle lime popcorn popped to perfection with the perfect balance of heat and sweet.

I did just say I wasn’t a fan of chipotle, but I did like this popcorn! The chipotle flavor is there, but not CRAZY strong. I think this is their only “happens-to-be-vegan” flavor.

Beanitos • Chipotle BBQ • ★★★

Value, $1

Description: Corn-free chips made from black beans and rice with the added zest of chipotle BBQ.

Okay, so this box has a theme….chipotle. These chips were also very good and more on the BBQ side. I’m loving these chips made from beans and rice. They are absolutely snack-worthy and happen to carry a lot more nutrition than the average chip.

*Edit: These chips are no longer vegan as they’ve added honey to the recipe. Their Original Black Bean, Simply Pinto, Restaurant Style, Hint of Lime, Garden Fresh Salsa and Baked Skinny Dippers are still vegan though.

ToYou Snacks • Apricot Coconut Nutty Bar • ★★★★

Value, $2

Description: Healthy snack bar loaded with raw almond, dried apricots, and unsweetened coconut.

Bomb! 💣 So good!  There’s only 4-ingredients [apricots, coconut, almonds, and brown rice syrup] in these bars, but they are full of flavor.

Available at ToYou Snacks

Nugo Nutrition • Orange Cranberry • ★★★★

Value, $1.56

Description: Fiber-filled orange cranberry bars that make the perfect breakfast or midday snack.

Mmmm! This bar reminded me of the cranberry orange relish I made a few years ago. Two fruits delicious fruits that bring out the best in eachother. As a bonus over 20 of their bars are certified vegan!

Available at Nugo Nutrition

Daily Green Boost • Barley Juice Powder Supplement • ★★★

Value, $5

Description: Nutrient packed barley grass juice powder to give you a natural boost of energy.

If you like green powders like Vibrant Health and Amazing Grass, here’s a new contender. It’s organic, raw, and vegan and is great added to a juice or smoothie.

Available at AmazonDaily Green Boost

Dark Dog Organic • Blood Orange Energy Drink • ★★★★

Value, $1.89

Description:  An all natural energy drink to help you power through the day.

I’m not a fan of energy drinks if watching tv is the intention, but if you’re drinking before running/cycling – I have no problem with it. Dark Dog Energy drinks are really good and a good source of sugary carbs + caffeine from Italian coffee beans. Blood Orange is a delicious flavor!
