Rating: ★ Hated it • ★★ Not for me • ★★★ Good stuff • ★★★★ Loved it and bought it since
Eeeee! The March Petit Vour box is here. Do you know what I learned recently? It’s pronounced petty vore not petite vore. 🙂
All of the products were new to me this month. There’s a focus on the face with lip pampering lip cream, a lovely little face mask that sounds like a smoothie, and a stem cellular CC cream that has SPF 30.
Let’s take a look!
“A beauty ritual should be a melange of indulgence, sensuality, performance, and ethical ideals. These all-natural picks are here to elevate your ritual—providing purpose, innovation… and something lovely to admire in your vanity. Enjoy!”
Mmm chocolate for the face.
The Little Alchemist — Cacao & Banana Face Glow — ★★★
This powdered facial mask comes in a heavy glass bottom container. It feels solid. The fine powder that you mix with water is proud to not contain SULPHATES, SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCES, PETRO-CHEMICALS, MINERAL OILS, PARABENS, HARSH DETERGENTS, EDTA, ARTIFICIAL COLORS, or SILICONES.
I’m sorry I don’t have a picture of me using it, but it looked inappropriate. I put a little in the palm of my hand and sprinkled water until there was enough and mixed it into a paste. It went on really nice, didn’t run down my arms or anything and dried relatively quickly—I think due to the clay base.
I have somewhat sensitive skin—it gets red—and the recommended 10 minutes were a bit much for me. But 5-7 would probably be just right. I might also avoid my cheeks and stick to my nose and t-zone where my pores are larger. After all that’s where the clay works best.
Juice Beauty — Stem Cellular CC Cream — ★★★
This was my first time using a CC cream. Good bye CC virginity.

This is my second wear of it and I like it much better this time around. The first time I just put it straight away on my face after washing/drying. I didn’t like the way my skin looked up close or the way it felt.
The second time around I used my Lotus Moon serum and a little moisturizer, let that sit for a minute and then applied with a beauty blender (next time I’ll use my fingers. I liked the way it felt and looked. It’s obviously not full coverage so my red cheeks poke through, but it gives a nice effect that allows me to look and feel natural. I used Gourmet Treats natural finishing powder to reduce the dew.
I would buy again, but right now I have plenty of foundations (I don’t even wear them all the time) that I don’t need another one. 🙂 But I do like it.
Metropolis Soap Co. — Lip Butter — ★★★
This little cutey hails from Brooklyn, NY and is made in small batches with all natural ingredients. I received the lavender/spearmint scent which is an AMAZING combination. I can’t stop smelling it! It also feels great on my lips. I will keep them in mind if I ever run out of my million chapsticks.
Vert Mont Perfumery — EROS Wellness Perfume — ★★★
I love their name. I like saying it in the worst French accent imaginable. I don’t even know if it’s French. I just like saying it that way. I feel like the scent is herbal, earthy, yet also like something you’d pick up in a department store. Rich smelling. It claims that it will smell different on every woman-once pheromones are in the mix. I like it! What really surprises me is it has patchouli in it!! Ick! I hate patchouli. Good job Vert Mont!
