LVX – Nail Polish, Lolli – ★★★★
Description: No vanity is complete without the perfect pastel pink to polish your pretty pointers. Fun alliteration aside, we adore this runway-inspired, chip-resistent, toxin-free line. Pairs best with sand between your toes and a cool drink in hand.
Only recently did I fall in love with LVX for Orchid arrived in my March Vegan Cuts beauty box! They are vegan, cruelty-free, and 5-free brand which is a lot to be proud of. Lolli is a crisp pastel pink with a nice finish. Two coats for a flawless bottle look.
Modern Minerals – Mineral Eye Shadow, Anju – ★★★
Description: 50+ gorgeous shades, from shimmer to matte, created by a brand we trust through and through. Forget unnecessary fillers and parabens! Modern Minerals has mastered the science of mineral makeup all the while avoiding worrisome ingredients so we can rest easy.
I don’t think my photo did this eye shadow justice. Anju is a beautiful shimmery tan with copper notes. I’m not very comfortable with loose shadows so we’ll see.
Anju is available as a limited edition at Petit Vour
Other colors are available at Modern Minerals

I know from Wayne Goss that a drop of oil mixed with foundation can make for a flawless finish. And I also know that the oil cleansing method and me are bffs when the winter months roll in. So far, rose water is really working at evening out my complexion it will be cool to see how this oil falls into the mix.
Schmidt’s – Lavender + Sage Deodorant – ★★
Description: If you’ve had bad experiences with natural deodorants, raise your hand. Everyone? Well, get excited because you’re about to become a believer. Apply this natural deodorant with your finger after you shower and go do your thing.
Pros. Smells delicious. It’s natural. They’re PDX based. It works.
Cons. It’s hard. Expensive. I would honestly love to know why I don’t love it as much as the next person. I’ve come across plenty of vegan bloggers that rave about it. I just don’t get it. Where my homemade (for pennies) version gets a little tough in the winter months, I can still use the top of my nail to scrape a serving off. I can’t get that to happen with Schmidt’s. It doesn’t soften easy in a warm armpit, it clumps and crumbles making a mess everywhere. I would say it’s people that live in warmer climates that love it—perhaps because it would always be a little bit soft then, but it was created in Portland—which isn’t tropical, but it isn’t frigid like Eastern Washington can get.
What are your favorite natural deodorants??
