I don’t think my photo did this eye shadow justice. Anju is a beautiful shimmery tan with copper notes. I’m not very comfortable with loose shadows so we’ll see.

Schmidt’s – Lavender + Sage Deodorant – ★★

Full-size, $9

Description: If you’ve had bad experiences with natural deodorants, raise your hand. Everyone? Well, get excited because you’re about to become a believer. Apply this natural deodorant with your finger after you shower and go do your thing.

Pros. Smells delicious. It’s natural. They’re PDX based. It works.

Cons. It’s hard. Expensive. I would honestly love to know why I don’t love it as much as the next person. I’ve come across plenty of vegan bloggers that rave about it. I just don’t get it. Where my homemade (for pennies) version gets a little tough in the winter months, I can still use the top of my nail to scrape a serving off. I can’t get that to happen with Schmidt’s. It doesn’t soften easy in a warm armpit, it clumps and crumbles making a mess everywhere. I would say it’s people that live in warmer climates that love it—perhaps because it would always be a little bit soft then, but it was created in Portland—which isn’t tropical, but it isn’t frigid like Eastern Washington can get.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What are your favorite natural deodorants??
